My name is Chloé Destuynder, I am a 26yo French analogue photographer based in Paris. Passionate about the process of film photography, I learned the technique by myself but I really began to find my style and what I like to shoot during acting school: people.
My work is very inspired by cinema and theatre. I like to imagine a universe, to place the human in a context so that it tells something. I like when it is alive. I do not imagine my photos in detail in advance, I imagine the mood and the atmosphere, but the result is created on the spot with the model. It is an exchange between us, a moment of complicity.
Theatre, cinema and photography are worlds closer than we think and even have a common goal that particularly interests me, telling stories.
