Now I live close to Kinderdijk, famous for the mills. There are a lot of mills around me so I draw them from all sides … as much as I can …

I was born in The Hague (Netherlands) and after my general basic education I wanted to study Art at The Hague Academy, but my parents did not allow me.

Driving a car you can not make pictures or just stop en draw, so this one is made out of the mind (iPad) close to The Hague.

I retired at the age of 60 and started my Art education at a Belgium Academy for five years and for one year at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Now I am a free artist and love to draw. I prefer portraits, landscape and urban sketching.

For 10 years I lived in Switzerland and because of that I stay almost every year for a couple of weeks in the region Berner Oberland and draw. This drawing (iPad) was made close to Interlaken.
