Digital artist Anna Butova

Anna Butova is a digital artis primarily focusing on atmospheric scenes and storytelling. She's a self-taught artist started as a graphic designer and journalist. After that she came to digital painting and now work as a professional concept artist and art director in video production and XR.

In her personal projects she often explore romanticism and nostalgia, with a touch of mystery, and sometimes dark, mystical motifs from the pagan era. She likes to tell about a forgotten worlds and special places, work with stories from myths and legends, create fantastical creatures. Also you can find her illustrations to sci-fi and adventure novels, posters and series in a vintage style.

Witch. Many years ago Samhain was celebrated on the 1th November. It was the time, when the viel between the worlds was very thin, and inhabitants of other worlds could only came to this world for one night.
