Graphic designer Ian Addison

Self Portrait: Based on a photograph taken by a friend, I gave myself a digital lobotomy and 3D mapped the image with watercolor based texturing.

Ian Addison is an American college student studying Graphic and Interactive Design. His work explores a variety of digital methods specifically across graphic design, illustration and one-line drawing.

Holmes: I was inspired to create Holmes to provide a relaxing jest to dimly lit rooms, corridors and any space between the shadows.

All work is done on a Macbook trackpad in Photoshop CC. He hopes to go into packaging for vinyl and art direction.

Dark Matter: I drew this using custom art-pen brushes that simulate pen pressure. Dark Matter in style is inspired by Spanish painter Joan Miró.
