Illustrator Eiko Yamaji

Eiko Yamaji was born in Yokohama, Japan. She studied copperplate and woodblock prints at an art university. After graduating, she has exhibited in group exhibitions, event exhibitions, solo exhibitions, and has also draw illustrations for advertisements and magazines.

She makes artworks mainly with copperplate and woodblock prints. Her works are created by trying to find small stories in common scenes of everyday life.

When I create my works, I hope to weave small stories softly and carefully, as if I am picking up small voices.
