Lilianna Lasocka is a freelance illustrator born in Poland. She graduated from Painting at Wroclaw Academy of Art and Design. She started working as an illustrator after she accidantly got involved in a children books illustration project. Recently she has started her own illustrated cooking blog for children. She loves travelling, living in different countries and searching inspirations in various places.
Her art has a slightly vintage aesthetics as she mostly gets inspiration from old magazines, books illustrations, old design and retro-style movies. Her works emotionally balance between witt and melancholy. They are at the same time funny and sad and they can be perceived in many different ways. Lilianna's aim is to provide to recipients a wide spectrum of emotions.
