"Born and raised in Paris, France; I moved to New York in 2010 to pursue my studies in Photography. I was drawn by the black and white film when I developed my first roll in the darkroom.
I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2015 and worked in different photo agencies with photographers, agent and producers. In August 2016, I booked a ticket to Asia and traveled for 5 months.
Back in New York, I am now working as a photo producer." - Margaux Panel
About the photo:
This photo is part of the projet: "Lights" I first focused on the objects and observed what happened when light was coming in my living room. Thus, objects were enlightened only for few minutes because of the clouds. Lines and shapes began to appear and objects of my daily life were trapped in the middle My goal was to be minimalist among my home, focusing only on small things or people close to me. The meaning is up to interpretation but the idea of "home", it’s definition (spiritual and physical) is the primary concept of this project that is still on going.
