Textile artist Chuck Stolarek

Chuck Stolarek is California based textile artist, working primarily in print, clothing, and embroidery. His work explores the overlapping of humor, confusion, belonging, and context - part collage, part reverse mad lib, part absurdism. Technique mends together disjointed storytelling, encouraging an easy, welcome diversion from everyday dialogue.

Chuck is a 2002 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design’s furniture design program where much of his focus was with storytelling with furniture. His work has been seen in Sportswear International, Bust Magazine, LA Weekly, Surface Magazine, and on MTV.
